Okuu and Tenshi are gonna take the gold. They're like the only team where both the members like and respect one another, compliment each others' strengths and weaknesses, and haven't resorted to unfair play. That and they're entertaining to watch to boot.
Naturally, this means they have about as much a chance of winning this thing as does a snowball in the Hell of Blazing Fires surviving for more than two seconds, but a man can dream.
Now, if only Okuu could learn how to do that nuclear punch trick without breaking her hands.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Red 75% have a good relationship and clean record as well?
Haha, with Marisa's rousing speech about defying forced roles in life that got her team as the face in most people's minds, it's easy to forget that it was her team that was blatantly cheating, while Reimu's team is squeaky clean-it's just that it's OP and therefore gaining hate, just like the Watatsuki sisters.

It's less that they're overpowered and more that they win without really doing anything. They spent the entire last fight taking Marisa and Nitori's abuse, then attacked once and won. It was stupid.

Marisa and Nitori did burn themselves out doing everything they did. That didn't help either.

Rope-a-dope is technically a perfectly valid strategy and works in real life, but yes it can be annoying to watch. I hear Muhammad Ali wasn't actually well liked at all during his days, and it was only after he retired that public stance changed to honor his status as longtime champion

They should have changed tactics when they saw their cheap shots weren't slowing them down. That or go 120% all out sooner.
That and the magicians' offense basically shut down theirs until they ran out of gas, no real rope-a-dope involved.
I last recalled Reimu/Remi isn't disliked among the danbooru fans... not sure about the in-story audience. Though for all their high overall ability, they're not proficent in PR unlike some other teams.
Disliked teams? The immortals as not even TTD's Squirrel girl, Sanae wins that effortlessly (She usually takes a beating that actually sticks)
Despite outright throwing away their face status (and the notion of being remotely friendly to each other), the Immortals enjoy good PR, thanks in no small part to Kaguya's bribery. Tenshi may be among the few not fooled by it.
The way they suddenly shown a strength/regeneration increase is terribly suspicious as in the match against each other, both immortals didn't shrug off the attacks they received that easily.
I'm curious how the remaining teams would hope to counteract the immortals' "Lunarian school of cheapassery" tactics.

It's not that they don't have a clean record, it's more like they have personality flaws that make them really unpleasant. Reimu treats Remilia and everyone else for that matter as tools on the path to her meal-ticket, and Remilia's arrogance would have cost them the match both times had she not been an overwhelmingly powerful vampire and Reimu not been godhax. They're only clean because they have no need to dirty themselves. They're just not particularly fun to watch, unlike Tenshi and Okuu, I feel.

But that's the thing; they were slowing them down. A lot. There was no dialogue or anything about how their plan wasn't working or about how high Red's endurance was. The whole fight was them getting their ass kicked, and then they won. And I don't know if you can call them cheap shots when Remilia out and out told them that they could do whatever the hell they wanted to at the start of the match.

It was stiffling their offense, but other than Reimu's unfortunate encounter with the wooden horse, most attacks didn't have a lasting effect. If Marisa went all out and blitzed Reimu while she was reeling from the low blow, she'd have gotten some results.
And as far as I can tell, the magician's attack options ran out before their foes' endurance.

It didn't help that they were pitted against weaker teams, though I have to question why Reisen didn't depend more on the skills she taught as opposed to the assorted dirty tricks. From the looks of her training, she'd be able to go toe to toe with Reimu. Though if they were going to go so far to pull dirty tricks, they should have brought in something for Youmu to use as a sword.
And the Magicians? They would have lost sooner or later.
Tenshi and Okuu are among the few that are in this for fun and are actually the closest to a hero team in this. I do hope Tenshi convinces Okuu that her hands are not really broken when she does exploding god fingers.

Which is funny because canonically Tenshi can/has wiped the floor with both of them. She is seriously underrated in fanon. A lot of people forget/Don't know Sakuya's knives can't even scratch Tenshi's skin she's so tough.

I mean, Marisa stopped in the middle to filibuster.
This. So much hype for a match that basically degraded to Marisa and Nitori pulling very tirck they could think, including two back-up teammates, and then ruining their advantage by getting cocky and talking trash. That turned them from underdogs into the villains and Scarlet 75% into the unsung heroes of the match (you can complain about their OPness all you want, they both took a tremendous beating, including Reimu temporarily passing out on her feet, and came out on top anyway and that is impressive).
We should all be thankful that Suika was such a dumbass in the beginning. She normally hangs out at the shrine anyway but for some reason she wasn't there, and then she expected Reimu to come to her and beg to be her partner. If she had been at the shrine Reimu would have surely chosen her as her partner then Reimu's team would be even more insanely OP!
