yeah Dark Samus/Metroid Prime doesn't have a body under the armor. She has more of a skeleton as shown at the end of Echoes

Considering how organic Dark Samus's 'suit' is, I'm pretty sure her suit IS her body. Metroid Prime fused with the Phazon Suit to stay alive after all...

considering what dark samus comes from a mix of metroid prime and omega pirate it would make sense for her body to become strangely skeletal like at end of echoes
