Assuming, of course, that Sakuya's eyes in the fourth panel do indeed signal a lack of time stop reflection, as they seem to do.
Panel 3. Tenshi's hat covered Sakuya's face. She couldn't get the timing for her time stop, so that was a direct hit.

Oh hey, so it did. I missed that in my harried phone browsing.
ithekro said: Could that be considered clever for Okuu?
I'd say that this kind of question being asked at this juncture is a fairly strong indicator of HS winning the whole thing. Neither of them are very bright, but they've each done a number of clever things in tne ring, which is where it matters most. As long they keep getting underestimated and looked down upon (remember the pose battle at the beginning of the match, as well as how confident Suika has been since we knew this match was coming), I think they'll keep winning.
Unless Sakuya is, you now, K.O. of it she is human after all. Plus Suika going back to normal size may be the barrier is already making her very tired.

I agree wholeheartedly, if the team with 2 of the most well known and more popular characters as well as some of my favorites were to lose to 2 of the widely but shortly criticized characters in the series, I would LOVE to see Team Moriya crush them beneath their feet.
I'm not sure if Lost Servants vs. Moriya would be entertaining. Unless Sanae decides to go Heel for the match that is. Suwako might be able to do stuff to the Oni, but human (miko/goddess) vs. human (time-stop maid) somehow doesn't seem like a good fight. Sanae can stop a certain amount of damage, and has tougher than when she faced Yuuka, but unless she gets dirty (or miricles happen) she's not getting past Sakuya's barrier. Nor do I imagine she has the power to fight Suika. Though I might be underestimating the Sanae and Suwako on that front considering what Reimu can do and who they have managed to defeat so far to get to the Semifinals.
Heavenly Sky vs. Moriya would be entertaining to see how Sanae can manage against a team that are actually friends and work (unorthodoxly) together. Power of Friendship verse Miko Miricles and Balanced Suwako? They can at least hurt Okuu and Tenshi (resistance or not, she still takes damage). And Sanae's miko powers should be able to handle Okuu now after facing Flan. It won't potentally kill her like it might have with Sakuya's powers.

What the hell is with all the hate for the underdog team? I mean seriously.

I could say the same about everyone wanting Heavenly Sky to win and hating Lost Servants, but really I do like them, I am just more for Sakuya and Suika then Tenshi and Utsuho since they have learned teamwork, made a promise, work hard for each other and depend on one another, and etc, it would just be sad to see that go to waste and that Sakuya won't be able to fulfill her promise to at least try to face Remilia in the finals. That and there already have been enough bullshit wins as is in this comic when a team who lost could have won.
cd_young said: Are you saying that Tenshi and Okuu's win vs Hiriji and Shou was bullshit?
No that one wasn't but I will admit that I wanted Hiriji and Shou to win that one. Kaguya and Mokou's match against each other on the other hand was and so was Team Moriya's match against Scarlet 200%
Kilgamayan said: At this point, I don't think either side has a leg to stand on in trying to claim a victory by the other side would be a bullshit win.
I'm with Kilgamayan. This has been the most straightforward match in a while, if not the whole series, as it's been mostly the fighters trading blows and pushed beyond even what would probably be normal endurance levels for them. Meanwhile, the characters' B-plots have even been reduced to mere throwaway lines, the longest dip into that being the strip where Sakuya brings Suika back to the ring.
Also, I think people who are focused on Lost Servants winning because they believe all of the character development "would go to waste" if Sakuya doesn't fight Remilia are themselves disregarding or missing the significance of the said character development. If "for reasons of character development," then remember that even in defeat lessons can be learned.

Oh, I actually expect we'll get the Sakuya/Remilia match on the final day of the tournament.

most (if not all) of the people complaining about Sakuya's parrying ability have never actually tried parrying (or doing something similar -- Just Defends in Garou MotW, parrying in Vanguard Princess, or doing counter-attack moves such as BlazBlue's Hakumen, Arcana Heart's Kamui, AoF/KoF's Kasumi Todoh).
Suwako can actually do her job as a "war goddess" right, and has a good history (being able to defend herself against a Shin Shoryuken -- even if imperfect -- and withstand Byakuren Install). Sanae has defeated Yuka through moe (moe > terror).. so it seems anything can happen.
at this point, I'll stop seeing this comic series in a serious light, and expecting the fights to be strategically interesting (in short, trying to have fun following the fights). I have to apologize to Shou, and Suika, because they weren't acting dumb, they were forcefully, conveniently put into idiot ball holder roles, committing avoidable mistakes.
all opponents of HS are therefore hopelessly doomed even before the character select screen appeared, and I'll see HS win the tournament
Shin-Houin said: C'mon, we all wants Sakuya VS Sanae The Finale sooo bad right now. Am I right?
Actually that isn't possible given the tournament structure since Even if Sakuya's team wins, they have to face Sanae's team in the SemiFinals at the end of this night's matches (the Immortals vs Red 75% is next and is the other SemiFinal match.) The winner of the two SemiFinal matches get to play in the Finals (next Full Moon).
Though I imagine Yukari will come up with a set of other matches to enterain the crowd for a similar length of time as the pervious match dates. Can't have the main event alone I imagine.
Shin-Houin said: C'mon, we all wants Sakuya VS Sanae The Finale sooo bad right now. Am I right?
I don't want to see Sanae anywhere near the finals. I'm good with either heavenly sky, lost servants or Moukou and Kaguya being in the finals and then winning.

Well, if I logic sense doesnt fail me, Id say someone who got hit on their TEETH (Sakuya) is suffering more than something that got momentum and forehead on their side

I think Sakuya would lose to Remilia and Reimu anyways, but did a good enough show to have Remilia reconsider her opinion.

Sanae vs Kaguya would be perfect. Neither of these teams, nor Red 75%, know anything of showmanship... coming out and doing a little pose (even with an Aki sister) is nothing compared to the pageantry of the entrance that Sanae and Kaguya would make given a month to prepare and knowing that they're going up against each other. And that's not even getting to the pandering to the crowd that would happen during the match.

I wouldn't say that, sure the match may be decided on a fluke, but HS has worn down the LS to the point where they'd be affected heavily by said possible fluke.
cd_young said: so you'd rather let a team of cheaters through? Tenshi and Okuu might have dumb luck on their side, but they're an honest and straight forward team.
Cheaters? Really? Lost Servants aren't cheaters and have you even SEEN the other matches?
Suwako, Mokou and Shou used the Asian Mist which is an illegal move, Yuyuko also helped Youmu and Reisen against Red 75% which was also cheating making it a 2v3 match and at one point a 1v3 match after handcuffing Reimu outside the ring, and Kirisame Familia was the prime definition of cheating since everything they did involved cheating such as using Nitori's tools, Marisa using some sort of magic to enhance her abilities, Patchouli having an entire torture chamber in her robe for the fight and she and Alice joining in the match making it a 2v4 match and everyone wanted them, a team of cheaters, to win against Red 75%.
So Lost Servants is no where NEAR cheating and they are allowed to use their abilities in the fight so Suika enlarging herself and Sakuya using her Time ability to block and send back Tenshi and Otsuho's blows were allowed otherwise Yukari wouldn't have bothered to train Sakuya.

1. Yukari having Sakuya trained was actually pretty shady.
2. You are aware Suika even being on the team was cheating. Sure the judges let it go for entertainments sake but the team was officially Sakuya/Koa.

I am aware of that and it was only cheating for their FIRST match but Keine made Mokou and Kaguya team up replacing Eirin which was the same thing since Mokou was kicked out of the competition after she lost but was allowed back on thanks to careful planning and with the help of Reisen and Youmu which in a way was also cheating to get Mokou back in the game.

because magician team trying to even the field is cheating. "To die honorably" is still dying. Since this tournament has become a joke, I'm okay with whatever happens, but I'd like people to keep their "honorable way" into this tournament, alone.
Also, if we're going to call everything that helps the opponent have greater chances of winning, cheating, then what's HS's "somehow we'll always win" plot armor? That totally destroyed the tournament's (and the story's) believability.
Really? You guys are too pedantic about cheating. I know I specifically like hardcore matches but even I know cheating when I see it.
I know Aya's crap at reffing but They decided not to act against sakuya's ability which in a way stops it being against the rules. Same with bigness.
Take into account the authorities opinion when deciding what is or isn't against the rules.
