Congratulations Sakuya! Your performance satisfied Remilia and it actually made her raring to go for the next match! Sure hope we get an extra match between these two team after the tournament.
But wait, they're already getting ready for the next match? No intermission?
Well at least Suika is comforting Sakuya, I still think this should have been their win though considering how the match went but that's just my opinion. Oh great its Remilia.

If that's the case, my bet is that Tenshi would be the one who would reply to Remilia, to stand up for Sakuya's efforts.

By reading Remilia's remarks, she's complimenting Sakuya in her own way (that of a tsundere master).

My only problem with that is that since it's so likely that Red 75% will win against Kaguya and Mokou, that it actually BOOSTS their chances of losing from 0 to maybe 40%.

We are talking about two Immortals that have hated and have been killing each other for 300 years during the 1300 years of Mokou's time as an Immortal, unless they learned to temporarily tolerate and work with each other better then with the match with Higan Judgement AND got back in shape after Mokou wasted an entire week of flying through the skies on Tewi Red 75% will wipe the floor with them.
Since I like both teams however (although I do not like Kaguya) I honestly don't mind whoever wins in the end.

"best" scenario (for them): one of their finishing moves involve them fighting against themselves and having one of the opponent team in the middle of the fight :p
"worst" scenario: they attempt to compete between themselves to see who mimicks Kinnikuman better than the other (can be an opening for defeat, or not)

You're thinking about this as a tactician and not as a stroyteller. My reasoning for giving them better odds is due to the fact that if they don't have an ace up their sleeve then they're going to get curbstomped faster than an oni can get drunk. Story wise that would be awful so it makes me give them better chances.

I'm just saying is all, if they do put aside their differences for this competition and do beat Red 75% (if they do that is) Mokou and Kaguya would be an awesome team.
Red 75% (or can we call them "Rec"? "Rec" is about 75% of "Red" and it's a apt descriptor of what everyone expects them to do in this tournament) isn't quite the unstoppable juggernaut they're being made out to be. I would still have them as the kayfabe tournament favorites, but with the way the tournament conditions are set up, they've faced two weakling teams so far, and the second one was clever enough with their approach that they forced Remilia to choose winning over dignity despite being completely outmatched in the physical ability department.
We've already seen pride come before the fall once, and Rec have both the largest egos and the least story-compatible motives of all the remaining teams. (I'd even argue Kaguya has the strongest plot armor of any one individual in the entire series.) Even ignoring the screamingly obvious Rec/LS undercard match possibility, I feel there is non-trivial reason to think they'll lose here.
I'm supporting Moukou and Kaguya in the next match. I may not like Kaguya very much after she excommunicated one of my favorite wrestlers in this, Reisen, but I don't hate her nearly as much as I hate Reimu.
Reimu better watch her balls.
Also, statistics mean nothing in this. Unless we can work out the plot armour then anything can happen in touhou tag dream.

Thing is they used the discord to their advantage, doing better than they were when they were trying to be a proper team. And then add in some of the stupidly powerful plot power seen to date (Neither Kaguya or Mokou are remotely known for their physical prowress, yet they were giving and dishing beatings that would be more comparable to oni)
That and I think a factor in their possible downfall is this: Eirin and Keine realizing their effort has failed big time (They were trying to end the discord, not encourage it)
While Reimu and Remilia are strong, they have yet to face anything that seriously challenged them unlike the other teams. Though the Immortal's example would been better if they didn't resort to "Plot Attack/Defense x3+" in the match.
The upcoming match should be interesting as it'd be pitting plot armor vs plot armor.
Part of me suspects we might see an Immortals vs Heaven Sky final due to the theme of how merely copying the elements seen in Kikkuman isn't the same as actually embodying it.

Perhaps not Mokou, but Grimoire of Marisa suggests that Kaguya has super strength (enough to lift a solid wooden panel that is large and wide enough to be a temple's ceiling using only her hands). Also, she's a Lunarian, and those guys are all overpowered.
And fanon in general makes Mokou a great physical fighter.

I was also referring to their first match where the displayed level of strength was more middling (with ExKeine being the most physically powerful) and where the hurting Eirin did to Mokou took a few decent moments to recover (as opposed to outright no selling the bulk of attacks).
Whether intentional or not, Red 75% is totally giving off an SNK boss aura.

This is Eirin, though. She may know ways to cripple otherwise immortal superhumans. Also, Mokou was clearly holding back, since she was unfamiliar with how pro-wrestling works.
Honestly, we can probably call the remaining matches now: Eternal Rivals beats Red 75%, Heavenly Sky beats Moriya, Heavenly Sky beats Eternal Rivals. I will be genuinely shocked if the actual results deviate from this in any way.
The optimist in me expects this next match to go well for Red 75%, such that Eternal Rivals have to do something really obviously heel-ish to defeat them and everyone's on Heavenly Sky's side for the final round. The pessimist in me expects dei shirou to devote the entire match to humiliating Reimu and Remilia with increasing cruelty because it seems like every Touhou fanwork goes there eventually.
After that, I expect Team Moriya versus Heavenly Sky to be fairly straightfoward, and probably a match where both sides have the audience's support, like the last bit between Sanae and Flandre in their match. I don't think the teams' injuries from their previous matches will enter into the equation nearly as much as they logically should, but I also don't expect to be particularly bothered by this.

What'll decide Team Moriya V.S. Heavenly Sky, I think, is what happens when Okuu and Suwako are in the arena together. As has been said, Okuu is a glass canon and right now Suwako is... not a merciful being.

Still, it won't be much of a rehash of Suwako vs. Flandre. Tenshi would have some means of defending against strong attacks, but at the same time Suwako knows how to inflict pain as much as injury. Eye gouging for example, will still hurt Tenshi despite her iron defense.
Depends on if Tenshi will allow for Suwako's tactics. Most matches where cheating or foreign objects have been used have been settled by the players in the ring with approval of Yukari and company. Tenshi however pretty much will accept everything someone has and will attempt to counter it herself...even if she is bad at it. (see grapling with Sakuya).
Red 75%, who has their match next, shows up in the ring!!!As to what I should say at a time like this...I don't know whether or not it's the right thing to say......but it was so exciting that I could just cry. The line changed a bit on Dei Shirou's pixiv page, so I changed it towards as.Indescribable FeelingsEpisode 973: I don't know the proper words for this. From the Artist's Pixiv page.I'm really happy.Really, from the bottom of my heart. That's right. Thanks to the match we just saw......it brought my motivation up, too.Sheesh... Jumping out so impatiently like that.Whoa! It's Remilia!!!
