About to explode and they are adding a damaged nuclear weapon to the mix?
If anything I think Tenshi will be upset they are stealing at least her spotlight, if not Sakuya's time since all the remaining teams kind of just arrived before either team could leave the ring.
It is good to see that Sanae is still a bit beaten up from her ten minute match.
Seeing Team Moriya join in proves that this is the usual confrontation between rival teams in which they say they will defeat the other team with confidence (and sometimes act cocky which Sanae kinda is acting like) before going back inside for the intermission.
Heavenly sky being out of this triple threat rivalry doesn't look good for them. At this point I'm starting to be ok with anybody but red75% winning though. There are only 3 characters Left in the competition that I actually like though.
Red 75%: A miko with ancient powers of the Hakurei Shine and a vampire who manipulates fate
The Immortals Combination: 2 Immortals, one who resists and manipulates fire and one that manipulates eternity and the instantaneous
Team Moriya: A curse god that creates earth and a miko that creates miracles and is the equivalent of a living god
Heavenly Sky Combination: A celestial who manipulates earth, has high durability, and can identify one's spirit and a hell raven with nuclear powers but is also very stupid
Yeah Red 75% sure is FAR superior to beings like that *sarcasm*
I don't know what team Immortals, and especially Team Moriya are even talking about. Team Lost Servants, which is whom it's implied they are talking about, won't be facing anyone because they lost; unless of course they take part in an undercard match at the Finals, in which case, they'd have to lose to face them.
None of the other teams acknowledging HS, even as Tenshi's partner limps to the ring, only concerns me because that suggests they will continue to be underestimated and win because they're not taken seriously. Tenshi not joining in this boast-fest might be fine; this last fight might not have left her in a position where she feels particularly boast-ful. Ironically, the one limb Okuu didn't "break" is the one that looks hurt.
LS being sidelined so quickly is equally disconcerting.
This is the point where both victors and defeated get cheered for putting on an exceptional performance, and we may get a nice motivational speech, and it's getting thoroughly denied.
Am I the only one getting confused about the dialogue unfolding in the last panels?
This is a far strech, but... did Red75%, Immortals and Moriya teams miss the end of the match, assume LS are the actual victors and follow some kind of script. At least that's how I feel it is.

That's exactly why I made my comment earlier. That would be awesome if your idea was actually the case, and as FJH said, would make for a wonderful reaction shot.
Given that the Sakuya/Remilia Arc had been around since the start of the comic, I still have to assume Red 75% will be in the final. Part of me wants to say that Sakuya will try to make up for her failure to keep her promise and give Remilia the tournament by "exacting her vengeance," disqualifying the HS/TM winner in the final. However, that's just me dreaming.

That doesn't seem likely to me, considering the tone of the series. Methinks it's more likely that Sakuya passes her will to defeat Remilia through HS.
I'm expecting either Sakuya or Tenshi or anyone from Heavenly Sky(Yuugi for example, but Parsee is fine too) and Lost Servants side to stand up and gives some speech to these teams. I mean really, this is just plain disrespectful. In the previous strip they already insulted LS resolve and now, if what we thought were right, they're dissing HS. LS and HS haven't even interact or comment about each other after the match and this is their time to shine, aside in the intermission, and these teams just keep butting in.
I wish Okuu would just use her remaining God Stomp to bounce them and had Suika smack them out of the ring. That would be really nice. But it would be better if someone from HS and LS gives some speech.
I am really confused by this dialogue. Can someone break it down for me because I have no idea what anyone is talking about in the first two panels.
Edit: Okay, after looking at the last two comics, the idea that none of the other teams realize that Heavenly Sky are the winners of this match seems like a good possibility now.
Yeah, the lines seem off. Like they were written for an LS victory. Unless they somehow changed the context to HS without us noticing (they seem hungup on Vengance for Sakuya on Remilia then going through the paces of, "well before that happens out team will crush you anyway", and with Sanae, it was "we would crush them before they get to you reguardless".
It seems off only because it seems like they are talked about Sakuya. (maybe this was Yukari's script, or none of the other teams thought HS would make it.) Okuu being helped back, doesn't look happy...niether does Parsee...and that isn't the "I'm jealous" look.
As it says, it seems like something will explode. Either there will be one of those imprompt non-mathc fights that Aya will need to break up (where is Aya? We've not seen her since the end of the count), or LS and HS are going to have to do something, as this is suppose to be their time...even from an audiance point of view.

Is that a reply to us? Nah, just blowing off some steam. I don't hate situation like this. 'cause if someone stood up and shut them up, the more cocky they become, the more satisfying it gets.

Well, Kaguya's second dialogue should be 'And I've wondered what do you mean by that...' Basically, Kaguya's saying that LS won't get their vengeance since Red 75% will go down by her hands. And for those who are confused, the fourth dialogue in the first panel is Sanae's. For the second panel, Sanae's second dialogue might be better as 'We're taking your good stuff/moment!" or something like that. Here she's pretty much saying the same thing as Kaguya, Remilia won't get her chance since they're gonna take down LS. From the dialogue they do seem to forget HS.
If they really think that LS is the winner of the match, are they deaf or what? Momiji already announced the winner with the goddamn mic.
Edit: I've thought up one funny idea, Iku shutting them up by saying "READ THE ATMOSPHERE!!"
Mastine said: Perhaps they meant that Remilia is trying to take revenge for the loss of her servant? All 3 teams seem to be trying to steal the limelight.
Maybe, but the context sounds wrong based on what Suika was saying in the last comic. Maybe its just something subtile in Japanese that can be missed?
(Also when I saw the thumbnail I thought Kaguya was Okuu for some reason)
Sanae also seems to be looking really off here. She's the person that wears her heart on her sleeve in these teams so if they are following a script then it makes sense that she'd be showing signs of nervousness. She's also been someone that's tried to make nice with her opponents so her suddenly wanting to get into a verbal sparring match is odd too and Suwako isn't even getting involved here so it's all Sanae.
P.S. I just realized how intense Okuu looks in that last panel.
P.P.S. I also came up with a dumb reason Team Moriya can't get into the finals. They have no pre-match robes of any kind. Gotta have the robes.
I don't get the confusion, the events of the last couple strips seem to be quite simple: 974 Remi: Jolly good show ladies, and now I get to avenge you! Suika: We didn't join to lose you know? 975 Kaguya: Besides your going to have to go through us first. Sanae: And they(HS) are going to be beaten by us. Seems to make sense to me, so what's the problem?
Maybe the English translation is wonky, because it doesn't come off like that at all. Especially since is reads like Remilia is thinking Sakuya was in this for vengence. Suika's response combined with the lines that follow make it seem like all parties are focused on Lost Servants, perhaps because of the used of the term "you guys" for multiple parties...sometimes without clarification.
Also the entire time in 973 and 974 it seems like Remilia is addressing Sakuya and Suika. If she is addressing Tenshi, there is no real indication of that since Tenshi does not appear in any of those comics, nor is addressed by name. The closest might be that in the second panel of 974 Remilia wasn't looking at Suika from the previous talk, but the flow (in English at least) doesn't follow towards Tenshi in the first panel once the word "vengence" is used in addition to addressing someone as "you guys" doesn't help at all.
Thus maybe it is a phrasing problem in the English, but more that one person is confused by the flow of these last two comics conversation and who is being referred. The target should be HS, but it comes off in English like it is LS.
So, going by what I could grasp from the previous strips:
- Remilia says she'll exact revenge on HS for beating Sakuya. - Kaguya says Remilia (or Red 75% as a whole) won't get that luxury because Team Immortals are going to take Red 75% down first. - Sanae then butts in, saying the Immortals would have to go through Team Moriya first.

If it was a script, Sanae wouldn't be having any nervousness... she's playing the "Idol Wrestler" and loves doing the story bits. There's a reason why her equipment list is just a mic.
She looks out of it here, because (according to the pixiv commentary), she really should still be resting.
P.P.S. I also came up with a dumb reason Team Moriya can't get into the finals. They have no pre-match robes of any kind. Gotta have the robes.
Idol Wrestlers don't need robes. What she needs is to make another flashy entrance on a gondola singing 80s songs. We've been deprived of that since Team Moriya has been first up in the past two rounds and so they didn't get an entrance... hopefully, she'll be in good enough shape to do an entrance for this round's final match.
Steak said: You know what I hate the most about HS? The underground representatives gave up their spot for them.
The ironic thing is that the original underground team "lost" because Aya actually did her referee job and awarded a double ring out. If the Orin Yuugi team had won, but didn't forfeit, LS wouldn't have advanced in disgrace and people would have disliked them for screwing up the subplot. If Orin and Yuugi lost, then LS advances like normally. If they had an actual rematch because of the double ring-out, none of that changes.
Worst came to worst, we'd have Tenshi and Okuu versus Orin and Yuugi, and I can't see that being too much different from what we actually saw from LS versus HS, minus Suika's size changing and Sakuya's "time wall." The biggest gun at risk was Okuu's bird transformation and the presentation of that scene suggests that Okuu thought it out herself (Orin was just providing the stimulus).
No matter what would have happened, LS was facing a quagmire. I feel bad for Orin and Yuugi too, agreeing to be used like this, even if they fully consented to it.
Wow 2 day delay on the next comic strip and there is nothing new on Dei's pixiv. Dei must be taking a break, and he/she probably needs one from all his/her hard work.
ithekro said: I'm guessing this is a Holidays/Comket pause?
Also I think mud wrestling would be warrented right now...have Okuu blow the ring and the floor up and play in the cooling mud under the stadeum.
Well, in the author's comment for this strip, he does said that this is it for this winter. There's still some continuation until the intermission but we'll have to wait for that.
I'm okay with it. We ended on a great note. Victory for Tenshi and Utsuho. I just really wish we could see more 'behind-the-scenes' story for them, like you see with the other characters. We still haven't even got to see what Tenshi vs Yuugi sparring was like...
That's right. And before that, they're going to encounter us first. The three teams glare at each other.Chaotic RingEpisode 975: Popping out like a stream. From the Artist's Pixiv page. We're taking your sweet moment!!Vengeance? Before that, we'll fight and eliminate you guys, you know?Oooh!! And Team Moriya enters as well!!And I wondered what you're going to say...It's getting chaotic at the center of the ring!!Just what will happen?!!It's like they'll explode at any moment!
