I wonder if this game is going to boost Mega Man's popularity enough to have Capcom make another game, perferrably resume development on Mega Man Legends 3? They really can't leave that game on that
crazy cliffhanger.
I just hope they'll at least port it on the Wii U, or 3DS, hell the Vita would be great for this game. In fact, I would like the game on both the PS Vita, and 3DS.

No, Mega Man's popularity never needed any boosting to start with. The desire for MML 3 was there, hundreds of thousands of fans were excited and waiting, it was whatever political game Capcom wanted to play that ended MML 3. They lost the lead person in charge of it, and they lost the respect of fans worldwide but Mega Man himself hasn't lost a single fan. Will they make a new Mega Man game? Who knows, but if they do prepare for it to either be a new old school game or a troll game made to make you buy DLCs out the ass.
Didn't they already make a shitty cellphone 'Megaman' game that does that?
There were actually two megaman cellphone "games". One was a lazily rehased port, that had you pay for power-ups, and weapons, and the other one was a crappy, on-rails game, that took no skill, and didn't even make it to the west, becasue it was so bad. Yeah, if they actually wanted to make a brand new Mega Man game with brand new characters, and a brand new world, on the IOS/Android, then i'm all for it. The thing is though, Capcom isn't even trying to make thier mobile games good, and then they wonder why they are bombing on the mobile market. They just recently announced that they are slashing thier profits on their mobile division, becasue they are suddenly realizing that they unrealistic sale expectations, will drive them to instant bakruptcy. Even Square-Enix recenly admitted that they f-ed up, and now saying that they are focusing on making decent hardcore JRPG's again, something that Square-Enix knows that they can do, without blowing a million dollars. Capcom really needs to get thier crap together, or else they will find themselves out of work, and the ceo's, and employees looked at as pariahs in the game industry.
This is both incredibly awesome and respect on Nintendo's part and seriously disheartening and disgusting for Capcom. If another company can give a character more respect than the ones who own them, the better company should just keep him. Seriously, they'd probably give him a 3DS or WiiU game
