See the first post of the pool for commentary. To paraphrase, he's currently ordained as a monk, and drawing these comics is very difficult due to its 18+ nature (for fear of breaking precepts). There's also the possibility that he's completed his monkhood and is only now posting them.
And yes, in Thai culture, it's an expectation for all men to be a monk at least once in their life. I know I drew a lot of women when I was a monk, but never got anywhere near what he's doing.
