A google search directs me to a japanese abtronic site. I guess it's abtronic spelled out in katakana?

Not Moonspeaker, but I've checked and アブトロー seems to be one of these questionable muscle toning devices people buy from infomercials. The name in English should be something like AB-Throw?

No, it's pretty much just a clipped form of アブトロニック, as can be seen from the text on the site. Normal English nickname-abbreviation (at least per my experience) wouldn't really clip this further, but if it did, it wouldn't likely clip it at the "o". I've made what I feel is the best of it.

Also, it seems like she did got scammed since the normal set for those Abtronic belt should cost only 7,600 yen. And it even said "Discount".
