Dont starve is a very well made game. Even without the skins it is worth buying. With the skins it is blasphemous to not buy. You can get a taste for the gameplay by checking out oceanogames.com where you can download one of the earlier beta versions of the game. I will warn, you will lose at least a month of your life playing this game. It is surprisingly addictive once you learn the strategy and get past the frustration of starving all the time
Don't Starve really should give him a small compensation, because if this doesn't bring shipfuckers into the game, I don't know what will.
Maybe make the survival on a abyssal infested fallen base and retitle the game to "Don't Sink"?
The game is fun and an addicting way to kill time. It can be pretty cruel for new players though, with lots of newbie traps and luck involved. For the price of the game and all the dlcs, there's a huge amount of complex content, and one can spend hours and hours experimenting and coming up with survival tactics if that's the stuff you like.
There's also a pretty strong modding community for custom characters and other stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if there was eventually a kancolle total conversion or something at some point.
