You know like removing, since it's not like trimming or cutting they remove their hair, in a sense that someone taking off their clothes.

The human equivalent would be something like taking off your wig...

...Except that you didn't know you're wearing a wig. And what you thought was a part of you is actually something you can simply remove without much effort.

It can get go further that in the game that they can wear different types of it

Granted, it's not a 1-to-1 correlation, but still... You're telling me they never had those clothes, which can so easily come off, ever slide or become disheveled or get snagged on anything ever in any of their collective entire lives to the point where one of them wondered what would happen if they tugged on their gloves or socks, and noticed it started sliding off? To go with the wig analogy, would it really be possible for you to go through life without EVER pulling on your hair at any point, only for someone else to just give it a tug and surprise you when it comes off?

I'd dealt with human babies. They react exactly the same to socks.
