My thoughts exactly. Little circled digits in the corners would have been helpful. It feel like the artist had a canvas and drew the whole thing on one layer in one go and did not bother to arrange the panels to be more reader friendly.

It looks like a pretty standard layout to me, except for the poorly drawn panel separators. The artist does seem a bit lazy at (most of the) times.

It's mostly the lower-middle panel that feels out of place, it looks like it should be read next to last which is incorrect.
