Top-tier character design like this deserves better than just one-note, DDophile characterization.

Honestly, the current event highlights Ark Royal as a steadfast, competent member of the Royal Navy as well as being pretty intimidating considering we're playing as the KMS in the first half. Also, they didn't make any destroyercon joke. NOT ONE destroyercon joke. It's actually impressive. I hope we get to see more of this Ark Royal in future events, even though it's unlikely considering she gets blown up by U-81.

Always felt that Ark was serious but has an EXTREMELY bad cause of Foot in mouth and her things with Destroyers is more wholesome then then one will think.

One of her lines specifically mentions that destroyers turn her on. Or she was about to say that before catching herself.

That said, that line was the English translation, and that could be just a case of tweaking the original Japanese line. Someone more fluent in moonrunes could perhaps read the original line and see if that's what she's actually saying.

I'm not too fluent in Japanese (and what little I have is only spoken at that), but I have her and she says something like "hatsujou" before catching herself. Based on my limited understanding, that translation is more or less on the mark.

Japanese is fine it's the original Chinese is the source of the problem.

They're also apparently are making her out to be a troll to Bismarck, as well.
