The strip references strip 877 , when Sachiko was devoured by puppies, but I'm more reminded of strip 457 , in which Fueifuei was eaten by pigeons.
(This is leaving out the numerous times the Producer has been attacked by birds, usually for — perceived — flirting.)
In this case, I suspect Sachiko had food or something similar to Fueifuei when she was attacked by the pigeons. And in the case of Producer... that tends to vary for some reasons, plus in the comic with Rin, she was the one flirting first. XD
