Yeah, that is a problem that plagues even the infamous back scabbard. Can only use a sword that's shorter than arm's length before the blade tip fails to physically leave the sheath.
Or you use a scabbard that Shadiversity made. Not sure how you'd achieve the same thing with the booba sword/sheath, though.
If you watch the animation of te attack, they already have it covered. The blade of the sword doesn't completely materialize until the sword is directed away from Raiden Shogun's body. The hilt just appears on the surface in her hand.
