Kancolle Iowa, grillin' for the 4th of July.
It breaks my heart when I think about those poor Euros, who will never get to experience burgers, coke, M14s or Freedom, because they weren't born in the great US of A. It's a damn shame, really.

The only thing missing is dead school children. Nothing is more American than mass shootings and then doing absolutely nothing to address it.
Edit: Your downvotes mean nothing to me, I've seen what makes you people cheer.

It's a sad reality, but the simple solution that some people say to 'get rid of guns' is not only a constitutional issue, but there's also the practical dilemma of getting millions of people to rid themselves of their arms fully and peacefully to a government that folks don't see eye-to-eye a lot with, whether at the local or federal level. The country was built on rebellion, and the streak of 'resist anything for reasons that vibe with me' hasn't really changed.

I wish I had an answer to something that haunts our country so much, but I got nothin'.

It's a combination of America being well-known for having people with a near-rabid level of patriotic fervor, and Iowa herself fitting the common stereotype of what many non-Americans think of as "American" traits (blonde hair, blue eyes, large breasts, etc)

If that is what their own citizens think, imagine what other countries think about the USA when they are asked about handing "weapons of mass destruction" or discourage nuclear tests from the only nation that has used nuclear weapons against someone else. No surprise from the nation that was built from looking down other nationatilies that were taken to America, exploited and made them servants/slaves.

If people don't trust their own government, it's not a surprise everyone else don't trust them either. That's the sad truth and the American way.

??? Healthy critique and awareness of government is good to keep them transparent as much as possible, in any country. Also, who is 'everyone'?

This may come as news to those with a hate boner for the US but Americans don't care that you hate their country, nor should they. They already know its from a place of deep insecurity. Its honestly pathetic that you have to seethe on danbooru about a country you dislike. No one here cares, this isnt Reddit. Take your internet activism elsewhere.

So freedom of speech is a selective right? That sounds so American too. You have a point though, you built your own hell and are living on it. Actions always have consequences, no need for others to try and make justice. I rest my case.

Why are you people claiming that "Americans don't care that you hate their country", while overreacting to a guy hating Americans?

Who's overreacting? I see a few fairly level headed replies, and a typical number of downvotes given to stupid comments. Which part of that is overreacting to you, do you lose your mind seeing a butterfly gently land on a flower?

Personally, I take bigger issue with the "you built your own hell" line than the actual insults. My generation, as well as the generation prior, had fuck all to do with most of this country's problems. Also the unoriginal, "hurr durr some random nobody telling me to shut up on the internet means free speech is a joke" bit. He just makes himself look like a tool, as usual.

Now that's truly an overreaction. All I can say is if some people see any critic opinion as an insult, it proofs as evidence the nation grows intolerance to serve as political tools against anything they decide you shouldn't agree with. Sometimes even serve as militar force invaders and that's all today generation fault. I rest my case by two.

Iowa, That's the reason why its called "The American Dream".

You have to be asleep to believe it.

(Hey, blame George Carlin for that if you get upset)

There's a method they used to use to teach puppies to hunt and kill weasels; they'd put the puppy in a bag with a weasel and have them fight to the death. If the puppy survived the ordeal, they'd hate weasels for the rest of their life. It's one of the more hopeful explanations I've come up with for why things are the way they are now, which is saying something.
