They actually did. Nothing in the game states that Bridget is trans. He/she/they could be genderfluid, non-binary, or just making an off-handed joke. So people saying that Bridget is trans is directly pushing their own interpretation on the character, and seemingly on other people too. Until an actual statement from the developers is made, Bridget being trans is just one possible interpretation, amongst many, of a single line, and people pushing it as hard canon is being disingenuous, because they have nothing to back up that that specifically is the case at the moment.
By all means, have your own interpretation of that line, but also let other people have theirs. This goes for everyone on all sides of this debacle.
You're wasting your breath with these. They decided on something, and will forever refuse to listen to reason, and treat every disagreement as hostility. Just ignore, blacklist everything related to that interpretation of Bridget, and leave them alone.

It's not a single line, though? The entire scenario is filled with cliché trans (or even just lgbt+) talking points. You're being disingenuous if you really think the line where she says, "I'm a girl!" is the only evidence, because you either haven't watched the entire scenario, or you're ignorant (or just dismissive) of obvious trans subtext.
And when I say "obvious", the only way it could be more in your face, is if she pulled out a chair and gave a hamfisted PSA to the viewer about being trans.

Actually, would you mind doing that for me? Because so far I didn't get any tones from it that specifically made it a trans experience, compared to something like genderfluid, or even just gender-nonconforming, the latter being a thing that has always been a part of Bridget's themes. You have your own interpretation, and I have mine, but by all means, let me know what you see so that I can take that into my own consideration and interpretation.

That'll take me a bit, but sure. I was kind of considering doing something like that anyway, but most of the people it would be directed at, obviously, wouldn't be convinced by it any more than any other arguments.
It's funny everyone forgets he was basically groomed to be a girl because of village superstition.
No one forgot; she wasn't groomed. Absolutely no one wanted her to be a girl, that was a means to an end (keeping her alive), not a goal, and her parents are more upset about it than Bridget is.

I guess Bridget's family was right to force him into a girl at such a young age and the journey to prove his manilness no matter how he looked, ended up being meaningless. No matter how hard you cope, thats called grooming.

The journey to prove her manliness was entirely for the sake of others. Bridget has since lived as a male for six years, with no one trying to make her live differently. She came to the conclusion entirely on her own that she didn't actually enjoy living that way.
It's sad that you think an experience in your life is meaningless if you change your mind later.

Except that Bridget accepting their lot as a girl despite spending however many years in series trying to prove his masculinity. To suddenly 180 like that is a sign of depression not happily deciding that he'd rather live as a girl.

Dude, she spent one game proving her masculinity. It was weeks at most. She's lived as a male since. Correcting people who mistake your gender because you insist on presenting as the opposite when no one's forcing you to is not the same as "proving your masculinity." It was already proven to the people it mattered to.

Ok, so it's not just childhood brainwashing but also societal pressure. Still not making them a great trans-activist role model.
You really have great skill at moving the goal posts, huh?
How can I move what's cemented in the ground. The fact you're bending over backwards so much you're a spiral to affirm what isn't canon is more astounding.

Oh, so now it being canon isn't up for debate? With your great authority, you've just decided what is and isn't canon now?
Fuck no you jerk, it's up to the devs in a later instalment of the game to decide what's canon.
Then why do you keep arguing that what you believe is canon? If the devs have absolute authority here, why do you keep popping up, without anyone asking, to make claims about what is and isn't canon about Bridget's story?
If it's not up to you, why do you keep saying, very openly, that certain interpretations aren't canon?

These character came out to show better things, the trolls purposely came to Birdget pics to post their shizoid thoughts Regardless of them removed, their disgusting and plain logical error is disgusting to see. Next time try not to quote and just reply directly
