For me, it probably caused because of the prev scene where her mother just killed some terrorists and gave Suletta some talk about how she had to kill in order to protect her and others thus putting the idea for Suletta that it's okay to do so even if it's a gruesome kill in front of Miorine. Remember, Suletta has a very innocent mind that it probably didn't register to her such thing isn't normal.
