Hoo boy, something tells me that just like Crow, Dorothy is going to betray and/or try to kill us....

This is actually a parody of YuGiOh ARC-V. The gist is that one of the characters confuse the main girl with his sister (they are dimensional counterparts) thinking she had escaped from the bad guy, to what one of the character goes 'nope' and silently punches him in the stomach knocking him out, which became sort of a meme.

I can't believe I'm invested in a gacha game story. I heard FGO story is great but thought it was an outlier

Crow is just an outright misanthrope, Dorothy seems to care about some stuff.
