Did this dude just upload a screenshot of a video they had on their phone
Like I'm really trying not to dump on things on this site, but what's going on with the quality control of some things lately with all the reuploads of already posted images, IMO poor quality artwork in general, derivative, AI and or stolen/retraced artworks getting upvoted to the top of daily hot tag rankings and now people posting cell phone screencaps. This site almost needs a reevaluation of it's approval and screening process to cut down on redundant artworks and this sort of stuff.
Like if something has already been uploaded minutes early, it doesn't need to upload things again even if it's been resourced from say twitter to pixiv, it's still the same darn image. Same goes for retraces of other people's work like the last post I dropped a comment and things that aren't actually artwork like this one. Could again really stand to cut down on all this clutter and I hope this problem goes away after the summer break period.

Note that this post isn't approved and is guaranteed to never be so it will be deleted in three days. (maybe even earlier) The default homepage is an uncensored stream of images that are just uploaded which included stuff that need to be sorted out by the Approvers and Mods. If that really bothers you, you can:
Add status:active to your searches to only show approved posts and posts uploaded by Contributors and up.
Add status:pending to your blacklist to hide all posts that are still in the queue from all your search results.

You can keep whining about reuploads until you get banned again, but Danbooru's mission is to archive the highest quality version of any given image. Some users do have a tendency to upload every version of an image they find without checking which one should actually be uploaded, but most of the time if something has been uploaded more than once, this is because one of them was a larger file size, larger resolution, or a revision. All of these cases warrant reuploading. No one cares that they're all "still the same darn image" to you. We're never going to just ignore the best version just because someone uploaded a shittier version of it already.
It's been this way for as long as you've had an account, nothing has changed.
