Anyone with an account here can make a pool. That doesn't mean we won't delete it if it turns out to be a personal favorites pool or one intended to replace a multi-tag search.

In light of the fact that forum #253856 is still pending, this pool in particular may not be around much longer.

Literally the only thing they did was express surprise at the existence of the pool you created, they didn't say anything inflammatory or insulting. So yes, no reason. Attacking users that comment on your pool, negative or not, is not going to make it any less likely for the pool to be deleted.

Uh for the record? I actually like and approve of this pool, and was thinking of contributing to it? I’m actually against these more personal pools being taken down, since it adds a unique touch that’s good for an art site.

Pools, like tags, exist to serve a purpose, not for users to treat like their own playground. Fav groups exist if someone wants a personal collection.
