Instead of using Hoshiguma S2 which reflects damage to the attacker and risking getting everybody killed from the phase 2 + mobs you can use Mylnar to tank with Shining and Nightingale + Saria as dedicated healer for him. Manfred attacks faster the longer he's attacking the same target. One of the risks on that day increases his range, making it easier for him to maintain one target until his attack speed is high enough to lock him in place. Młynar also reflects damage. He's used over Hoshiguma in that video because he has more res than Hoshi (Manfred's ranged attacks deal arts damage) and he has 0 block when not using his skill, meaning he'll never aggro the cannon. Hoshi would, because she has to be deployed after Mudrock, who's on decoy duty. Młynar's reflect also does true damage, but I dunno if that makes a difference.
