「一本とられた」 seems to me to mean something like "1 round won" or "1 victory obtained"... we hear it a lot in commentary about versus games like fighting games.. can someone explain to me how that translates to touché(admittance of defeat)? The idea of a round ending is there, but the loser of a round will sound weird if he says「一本とられた」, which is the usual context of touché...
It's listed as such in EDICT, and at http://gogakuru.com/english/phrase/21496 As far as I can tell it's usually used with the meaning "my opponent won one round".
