I remember this fight

How nostalgic....I remember when I was 10 years old playing this game. Must have beaten it so many times by now, this is the prime example of what a final fantasy game should be. Damn, this brings back memories.

Seeing this in the nostalgia pool makes me feel old.

Sad part was how so many people disliked 9 simply because of its art style and medieval theme.

Zidane's struggle to find himself is one that will live with me forever. That and his constant womanizing lol.

Yeah... it was supposed to be one final throwback to the old days of FF, but it seems nobody could comprehend that. Look where we are now; Final Fantasy 13. Joy. :\

The only thing I wasn't fond of with FF9 was all the anthropomorphic characters wandering around. It felt somewhat cartoony/childish to me.

Well...what i want on final fantasy ix and "ONLY ON FFIX" is multiplayer on battles :D

You COULD have P2 control a couple of the characters in fights, but it was still turn-based.

Like zidane hitting on garnet in the beginning? Or all the slapstick moments with steiner? lol all of those things were way more cartoony and all of them were in the beginning!
