Though it can be Laurentius, I'd be more inclined to say a random pyro character. 'Course I guess this could be considered a bad end for Laurentius. It never did say why he was going down there to look for her after all...

I'm going to say random pyromancer, because Pyrobro uses a hatchet.

Presumably to learn more advanced pyromancy, since he'll only go down there after he notices you have spells from the daughters of chaos.
