Question about tagging yuri here

I've noticed in a couple of my uploads that had futa in it, people have been removing the "yuri" tag. Like in this one.

So my question is, are pictures like those considered yuri once futanari is involved?

No, they aren't. There've been some very angry comments pointing that out in several mistagged pics' threads, too. Futa is futa, yuri is defined as girl + girl, not girl + futa.

I'd rather consider futanari a 3rd gender than to lump them completely in with girls.

If it isn't, yuri should be defined as girl on girl and no penises. No 3rd party male penises floating around or any attached on to "females" in the images.

There is a difference between a shemale and a futa: a shemale is a male with boobs, while a futa is a girl with a dick. A futa usually still has her vagina because she gained her dick by either black magic or scientific experiment or some other process.

So in short:
futa = girl + penis

So I say we don't count it as yuri, but we still count it as girl on girl.

In other words:

futa procedure: +1 girl, +1 female, +1 penis, 0 yuri, 0 yaoi, 0 male, +1 vagina (if she has it)
