AI-generated art check thread

post #6059836 - what a pity, slowly but surely this site is turning into "redraw hand" collection

Very similar to the artist's older works (e.g. post #5486235) with lighting improvements. The artist also confirmed that they use AI for backgrounds only and fully redraw the characters, meaning that it wouldn't be applicable on this background-less image.

Any signs that it was generated by ai? There are no artifacts on the hands, sharp detailed background, a lot of details: geometrically right bowtie, table, choco. Hair is little bit messed up, maybe it's ai-assisted, but how to understand that it was completely ai-generated?

Other art by the same artist:

And if it's ai-assisted can I upload these pictures?

I might have acted too hastily on that one, but I saw the odd hair as well as the reflection in the water with no source to it and reckoned that it is purely AI.

The user in question is a 3D artist who has never done any 2D work before buying NovelAI. They've posted about retouching the artwork that they generate, but they don't appear to redraw it to a significant extent.

Wondering about one of my uploads: post #6073264. Didn't see anything fishy in the metadata.

Not seeing any clear red flags in this image.

post #6070757 - need tag "human-assisted".

Very likely to be AI-assisted due to the background, but the insistence by some that this is a "lazy" photoshop is wrong. This is completely painted over in the same style as the artist's non-AI works (e.g. post #5161558).

It's not my flag but I totally agree that it's 100% AI with low % of "human-assistant". The problem is that it would never be uploaded and approved here if it wasn't posted by someone without 10+years' background. What a shame.

P.S. your example has almost nothing to do with his latest AI "arts".

Are there any signs that post #6074582 and its children are from AI? The artist, torisan has not given any indication they use any tools to generate or assist their work.

Seems like the bad hand against the wall is being cited as the reason, but the artist has drawn numerous weird-looking hands (also frequently including the prominent fingernails seen here). Not enough evidence to call it AI.

https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=kagami_art&z=1 - all the "asrtist"'s "work" are AI, sometimes with cringy upscale and some lines above it. It's a shame that some posts have already been reapproved and lmao if it still counts like "AI-assisted" if AI do 99.9%.

The artist has definitely started incorporating AI, as evidenced by the artifacts in the backgrounds of post #6081802 and post #6084559, as well as the overt NovelAI style on post #6081818 that has nothing to do with their other works. Also their Twitter profile, which has begun connecting with AI artists pretty openly. Their profile has a couple images that appear entirely hand-drawn (but are slightly below borderline in quality), a number of AI pieces that are too blatantly low-quality to be posted, and a few AI redraws of decent-ish quality that comprise the few posts uploaded here.

Pointing out that these pieces are AI-assisted will correctly lead approvers to hold them to a higher standard, as is the case with a lot of borderline content. If you want to argue that certain types of AI-assisted content should be banned outright, though, that's a subject for a new thread.

This thread called "AI-generated art check thread" - I pointed on AI, if approvers think that upscaling and adding some lines above it is "AI-assited" (when AI did 99.9% of the work) - I can nothing to say but to admit it as a shameful act. Hoped this site will be AI free, but...
