Aliasing dragonball -> dragon_ball.
Aliasing dragonball_z -> dragon_ball_z.

(Aliasing dragon_ball_evolution -> dragonball_evolution.)

Implicating dragon_ball_z -> dragon_ball.

Reason: Turns out it's two words. Been mulling it awhile, but might as well throw it out here. However, the recent flick is compounded, and I'm not sure what would be better for the few character tags.

No doubt, I'm just being a stickler. In that vein, I'm having trouble figuring what the actual trademarked(?) romanizations are for some Pokemon (I stopped when Horsea came up as "Tattu" and "Tattsu"). How could I go about finding the actual trademark pages, since I've had little help from the page Bulbapedia links (much as their page freezes Opera up)?

Those are equivalent. We'd use "Tattsu"

Oh, those are easy to find, up in Wiki- & Buldapedia. However, what Nintendo et al copyright out of scribblies might be different than how it's plainly rendered (though, for what you're likely shooting at, this'd stop at, say, l/r issues). Romaji.org gave it as "Tattsu", but, again, wanna see what's been registered.

Doesn't matter whats been registered. At least, not for our use. We wouldn't use "Tattu" regardless. Haduki would pitch a fit.

It's not to be used for tagging, though, just the wiki entries.

If its meant to be Japanese in any way shape or form, our policy is to romanize it consistently, so we'd use "tattsu" even on the wiki, unless there was a good reason not to.

Agreed. And on that note, I've seen people reversing original name order when writing wiki entries - please do NOT do that. Everything in a wiki should be consistent with how it's tagged.

It doesn't seem to've been outright rejected (the conversation veered into Pokemon nomenclature), it was remotely English, and I'm talking about pushing these simple corrective A/Is through.

You should have brought it back up 3.75 months ago then.

And your bumping post made no sense. You got a negative record for that earlier, you should think before posting.

It doesn't seem to have passed either, and is insanely old. There would have been much better ways of reviving this.

For the record, I still think it looks better as one word.
