Tag Alias: multiple_arms -> polymelia

Aliasing multiple_arms -> polymelia

Aliasing multiple_breasts -> polymastia

Reason: These are the proper terms for having more than two arms/breasts (just as polydactyly is the proper term for having extra fingers). 'Multiple arms' doesn't make sense anyway. Everyone (well, aside from amputees) has multiple arms.

Seems a bit too obscure -- nobody will know what they mean when they see them in the listing. Why not extra_arms and extra_breasts?

Yeah, but I think it's better to go for an obvious tag over an obscure one, when possible.

Another reason: When I'm trying to figure out what a particular tag is, the easiest way to do it is to just do a search on the tags (searching the wiki often reveals too many results to be useful.) So if I didn't know the tag for someone who has four arms, my first instinct is going to be to do a tag search for 'arms' and go over the results.

But aliased tags don't show up on searches, so I wouldn't get polymelia out of that.

I mean, what's wrong with extra_arms or extra_breasts? They seem both accurate and clear.

Too obscure for me too. extra_arms/breast is better.

They do when you search the post index. Searching hands_behind_* gives you results for arms_behind_head and arms_behind_back. They don't show up when you search the tag index.

I'm not opposed to this. I just suggested polymelia/polymastia because we're already using polydactyly.

Went with extra_* because it's much more immediately obvious to most people what it means.

I was going to, but the wiki says it's also for toes. So I wasn't sure what to call it.

extra_digits maybe though that's not as intuitive as one would like.

Well, multiple_penises is already a tag for something different, and extra_penis makes me think you have a spare one lying around somewhere, like... just in case. polyphallic sounds good to me.
