The latter is the artist's signature and consistent across all his works.

As for this one, I tried posting an artwork and the alias seems to be working… kinda. The new name stays, adding the old one does nothing since it IS aliased to the new one. But all the previous posts won’t move from one name to the other. Should they be changed manually?

Edit: oh, now it got reverted back to the old one while I was replying.

No, don't change them manually. If it can't be set up by DanbooruBot, it should not be remedied by users except in an attempt to make the BUR succeed. I'll open a separate topic regarding it.
