Toosaka_rin

I'm moving tohsaka_rin back (once again and with finality) to toosaka_rin. Which is where it belongs because it's silly to have this as an exception for absolutely no reason.

Just to forestall anyone who had the same initial reaction I did: 遠坂 is indeed とおさか and not とうさか.

Yeah, it's gone back and forth at least 3-4 times over the years, with people complaining that they were used to oh. But that's not a valid complaint so I went ahead and did this while I was aliasing a different toh* character and it came to mind. I actually couldn't remember which way we had it set at the moment due to all the flip-flops.

Presumably you won't forget tohno* tohsaka*?

I think "Tohno" may be correct, actually.

But yes, the other Toosaka's need to be changed.

By what reasoning?

By the reasoning that I haven't looked at the Hiragana, and the fact that it hasn't been brought up by anyone yet in all the discussion about Toosaka?

No, the 遠 (too) in 遠野 (Toono) is the same 遠 in 遠坂 (Toosaka).

tohno akiha, tohno shiki, and all variants thereof should be aliased over to toono_*.

Well, no matter the hiragana, the sanctioned romanization scheme around here doesn't contain "h" as a vowel extender in any context anyway.

Cleaned up the toonos and toosakas. Wiped out a couple dozen toh* characters and a few artists, there's more but I got most of the significant ones for now.

And yeah, there's no 'h' in our romanization outside of its ha, hi, he, ho family. With hu being replaced by fu.

They're all toosaka when I look at the pictures, but tohsaka and toosaka have different search results. I thought any caching would have updated by now…

Ookouchi_Akira is a good example of the difference between おお and おう.

I'm not sure what happened with the leftover tohsaka_rins. May want to delete and recreate the alias.

I ended up having to fix these manually. I'm not sure why these caused issues but let me know if you see any other troubled aliases.

Gah really? They were all totally fixed at least for a time. I guess something went funky again. =/

I think it would be a good idea to run a job that checked all aliases for leftover posts.
I suspect that there's a number of them left over from old cache bugs and such, but it's hard to find them as a user because of the aliasing.

Would be nice if it could be done yes. There's a fair amount of tags suffering of this issue right now.

Woah. Something wonky just went down with the FSN tags. I reverted all the tag-blanking, but I'll leave the dummy edits necessary to get the aliases working as an exercise for the reader...
