Tag Alias?: spread_arms <-> outstretched_arms

Posted under General

They appear to be the same in current content to me. Both have wiki pages, with the former more "in depth." It also has the most posts under it. However, to me, the latter is more explanatory of the action.
Then again, one could make it so that outstreched arms refers to arms being out without specifically referring to direction, while spread_arms referred to being specifically "T" or "airplane" shaped (see Rumia) and implicated the other...but that sounds like a terrible amount of checking and editing.

I dunno, it's late and my brain's coming to a halt. What say you?

I'd be against an alias. Spread_arms has always been more narrowly defined as the arms being stretched out making a T shape with the body, the more recent outstretched_arms tag is by far more general in definition. The broadness of outstretched arms' definition doesn't simply subsume spread_arms, but also \o/. Because spread_arms and \o/ cover fairly specific poses, it would make much more sense that those tags implicate outstretched_arms instead of having one (or both) aliased to outstretched_arms.
