Sorry if I write this wrong, it´s my first forum thread here.
For reasons involving loss of internet connection, I´ve been surfing Danbooru through the pictures of around a month ago, using the tag date:2011-xx-xx, which was working perfectly... until yesterday. I´ve been trying it today but it just gives me the usual "Nobody here but us chickens!" line. Are you guys tinkering with the date system or something?
That does work, but what I posted worked fine up through just yesterday... ----- EDIT: Yep, check today's two changesets: http://trac.donmai.us/timeline
make default source search more strict
remove cast on post date searches
A little notice about things like this would be nice (it broke functionality in two Greasemonkey scripts and one program of mine)... Maybe using that news ticker?

thanks for the update, i can search them now. however, the changes break the 'Posted: $datetime$ by user' in the statistics panel in every post page right? maybe it needs some adjustments to include the range.
btw, the internal clock here is set in GMT-5:00?

try date:>2012-01-10 order:id this will show posts starting from 2012-01-10. the latest will be on the last page instead of the default first page.
I have often used "date:xxxx-xx-xx order:favcount" to get an overview of the most popular posts daily... Why this function has been removed? was so useful...
I browse danbooru once a day with "date:today-1day -rating:e", so this sort of renders danbooru unusable for me :(
I'd also like to report another bug, everytime i have to load the last page for my search ("date:today-1day -rating:e"), i get at least 5 database timeouts before it works normally.
I´ve found a little problem with the date:2012-1-11..2012-1-12 format tag, it looks like it mixes pictures from both days, so a picture that appears in the range between 1/11 and 1/12 will appear too in the range between 1/10 and 1/11 or the range between 1/12 and 1/13
You're telling it to give you all images posted on the 11th and 12th so yes images posted on the 11th would also appear on a query for all images posted on the 10th and 11th or images posted on the 12th turn up on the 12th and 13th.

Yeah, should have guessed... it´s still annoying that I have to look everything twice now
