cherry_trees alias debate

maybe we can just split it into cherry blossom tree and cherry fruit tree? Since, for the blossom tree, there are many posts with random standalone cherry blossoms, and for the cerry fruit tree, fruit tree is often forgotten like in post #3485847 and post #2738268.

That makes it sound like they're different trees.

The trees realistically would either bear flowers or bear fruit, but not at the same time (for obvious reasons), so from a visual standpoint they would look completely different. It would be reasonable then to have different tags for the completely different appearances, especially since the only visual most people are using for cherry trees are of them flowering and depictions of them bearing fruit are rare.

Since that could apply to other trees too, what about separating the tags from the current state of the tree?
For example, cherry_blossom would become cherry_tree blossoming_tree, and one could search for either blossoming tree or for fruiting tree.
This way the tag could be used for other trees too, and they could be tagged when they don't display either fruits or flowers (or even leaves).

That's not a bad idea, the only concern I have is that this will be a more complicated tag combination and people who don't read wikis before tagging will eventually pollute them. Is this something common currently?
Also we already have fruit tree so either we keep it or rename/alias it to fruiting tree.
