Pointless Pools

That scholar is sellen, a mage (which is specifically mentioned to count since the beginning) mentor/ally/boss fight in elden ring. Touhou is a bit hard to check as it has a pretty unreliable wiki. I consider summer outfits which are alternate official to count. I also consider OC or custom protagonist characters customized that way. The swimsuit girl I agree with, I'll remove that one and check for others that also don't fit. And one more justification for the pools existence is that I don't see the no shoes tag used very often in general.

Half the pool is just random ninjas and characters I wouldn't call a "warrior woman". If you showed me the pool without telling me what it was, I'd assume it was a favgroup for stirrup legwear.

I know who Sellen is, she would be best girl if Ranni didn't exist. That doesn't change the fact that the two included pictures of her (that I saw) are just, what looks like to anyone unfamiliar with her, a woman in a robe lounging or reading. "Mages count", if I were someone actually interested in what the pool was advertising, would mean someone actively casting magic, not someone relaxing in what is clearly a subtle foot fetish image.

Touhou is a bit hard to check as it has a pretty unreliable wiki.

The Touhou wiki is not that unreliable, unless you're talking about something other than https://en.touhouwiki.net. Miko's page has several sprites and portraits taken directly from the games that all show her indisputably wearing shoes, if you just scrolled down. Even if what you say were actually true, Toyosatomimi_no_miko official_art serves the same purpose.

And one more justification for the pools existence is that I don't see the no shoes tag used very often in general.

The solution to that is usually to add the missing tags, not make an entire pool. The whole point of tags being freely editable is so anyone can fix those kinds of discrepancies.

This kinda just sounds like a lot of excuses ngl

Well why is women in practical armor a pool and not a tag ( i.e. practical armor)? I think the latter would fit better, its just 2 aspects needed female and logical armor. Whereas this pool needs a few aspects for an image to qualify.

Actually feet tags in general could use cleaning, some posts with barefoot are missing feet. And Feet also says that the images focus on one or both feet, then why is foot focus even a thing? Some still think barefoot sandals are sandals without socks.

Taking all these holes in tagging logic (and many more I can't remember at the moment) as well as mistagging, searches can have very different relevant results such as (Which I and most other people can only use 2 non-blacklist tags at a time) Barefoot + armor/weapon/fighting/fighting stance, then feet + [see above], toe ring + [see above], etc, many other tag/variable combinations I can't remember exactly researching media for that character to make sure they are related to an IP in which they actually fight in the first place, then researching official designs for (OC and otherwise) those characters, then repeat until I reach the last page for that combination and begin again. So yea, a lot of searching and open tabs. So SORRY, if a couple mistakes happen in that long process.

Then I get derided for not being specific or too specific with what qualifies, what merits it has, the title not being COMPLETELY literal while offering no alternatives whatsoever, and just people who are not into that. Nobody willing to help or offer advice that isn't to delete the pool. So sorry if everything is not completely perfect in every possible way.

I created the pool with a theme so that I and more specifically others could contribute to it.
"Another use of pools is for collections of posts that share a common, subjective theme. These pools are called collection pools and have blue-colored names. Some of these pools are organized under the pool groups page.

Rules

Don't create pools for personal collections of your favorite posts. Use favorite groups for that. Personal pools will be subject to deletion in topic #8282.
Avoid creating collection pools when a tag would do."

A tag would not suffice, and this is not a personal collection, so what genuine reason for deletion could there be other than people just not liking it?

This just again makes me think it’s a personal fetish pool.

How?

Edit: and perfect body part pools aren't?
Edit edit: Like I said, nothing helpful, how does this further discussion beyond bandwagoning?

Not all barefoot, no_shoes, etc posts should have the feet tag. Just because you see feet doesn't mean it needs the tag, that's the point of barefoot, no_shoes, foot_out_of_frame, feet_out_of_frame, those are the presence tags. Feet tag is like the wiki describes, when the image is focused on the feet, foot_focus is for quite explicitly fetish pictures, like it says, "main focus of the image".

Example: Foot_focus post #6775857 (very explicitly fetish image)
Just feet, no foot_focus post #5849585 (detailed feet, clearly artist focused on them, but they aren't the only focus of the image)
just barefoot, no feet tag at all post #6781601 (feet are just there, not much detail at all)

Because everything you keep saying is based on a non-issue that only you have. You say it's so other people can contribute, but the pool is at 542 images and almost all of them were added by you. Most other peoples' contributions have been removing images.

When I can open the pool and find hundreds of the images being random half-naked women lounging in their swimsuits, like post #4629513, it's probably a fetish pool. When I find random pics of Shuten Douji like post #3853099 (she's holding sake cups, not swords, and isn't even a mage), it's definitely a fetish pool. When I see some elf chick with a harp whose heel is only part of her foot in the image (post #3657625), it's not just a personal fetish pool it's a personal favorites pool. There are random harem women like post #3674248 and post #1702596.

You say you're looking for barefooted warrior women in armor, weapons, or fighting stances? Half the pool is women in no armor, no fighting stance, no weapons, canonically not even a mage, and not even barefooted. Half the pool doesn't follow the weird rules you wrote for yourself (and only did so in this recent discussion to ward away these accusations) and you're edging towards mass updating characters like Hassan of Serenity even though half the images you've added of her look like post #5871227. That's not a mage, that's not a fighting stance, there's no weapons or combat gear. post #1957643 is just an ass pic.

Combined with how hard you're fighting for this, it's pretty clear that this is a personal favorites/fetish pool. Especially given that you break your own attempts are rules with ever batch of posts you add to it.

If the BUR nuke doesn't go through shortly, I'mma just manually delete it myself. A mod already did in the past and you remade the pool anyway.

Just wanna correct this point, the undeletion was done by someone else, not Bionicman76. Members can't revert pool deletions can they?

Also, just something I thought was interesting, a few other users have added images to it, mainly early on, with all of them fitting the spirit of the pool better than the additions of its own creator, even before its weird rules were added.

Yeah, that was after I asked somebody to restore it after raisingk accidentally banned my account after confusing me with an impersonator's sockpuppet: Bionicman77

Unless there comes a feature for public interact-able favgroups or something of the like there really aren't any genuinely concrete arguments for bringing it down (that don't just come off as offended whining). Though I'm sure that won't really be considered a problem for the opposing side in this case.

Multiple people give you reasons and your response is to claim that they're offended and whining while, in another thread, saying that you deserve a promotion? While double and triple posting in here? Weird.

This conversation has shit up this thread long enough. Evazion does put more weight on conversations than on votes, so just let him do his thing; we've said our pieces.
