That really depends on what you mean by "interest" - desire or urge. The two aren't always the same. A desire being something thought out and an urge being a random impulse that can't be reasoned with. An example being that I have the urge to binge on fast-food. But I have the desire to see the age of thirty.

A man may have the urge to sleep with a woman but might not actually want to for some reason - knowledge that she has some disease/prior commitment like a girlfriend or vow of celibacy/some kind of psychological issue.
