I like this one, Eirin here doesn't look like she will go Mengele on you, and Yuuka doesn't looe like she gonna cut your dick off, then Yuyuko and Byakuren's facial expressions are just to my liking.

True enough, it's just that others doesn't look exactly that way and are usually drawn by fanartist according to that perception. Case in point: Suwako, Tewi, Suika (?) and Aya.

Indeed, but many don't really *affect* it, which is generally considered the point. However, everyone in this picture does - Yuugi, Yuuka and Ran might not be "classic Old Maids" members, but that they are old and powerful and not ashamed to show it is obvious in their very characterizations, so they fit the "Elder gathering" feel.
For example, fact of the matter is that EVERYONE in UFO except Kogasa is at the very least a thousand years old, but other than Byaku and maybe Shou, they lack that certain... dunno, maturity, perhaps... that makes them register in the mind as truly ancient powerful beings.
That said, yes, Komachi should probably be here as well. She really fits the description. Perhaps she just couldn't be bothered to come pose for the photo?

I dunno, Komachi seems more like a 19-20 year old to me, with Shiki being 17. Not to mention Utusho looking 19 based on the vast majority of fanart. I used to comment on what age range the characters "seem" to be in. If there's anyone else who fits the Old Maiden's Alliance, it would be Mima and Shinki.
