imply hoodie_lift -> clothes_lift

Posted under Tags

The wiki page did not exist last week. I might question whether hoodie_lift has been used the way its wiki now describes. E.g. post #3128875 and post #3423370.

Whether it has been or hasn't, another matter is if it should. The big question is about the requirement of exhibition. It was added to wiki clothes_lift around one and half years ago. Hoodies are often worn over a shirt leaving the revealing nature to less explicit levels.

Not to be discussed here but some suggest hoodie should imply sweater. It would suggest an implication to sweater_lift.

I made it a quick wiki page so I could put in the implication. It does say "often" to reveal the wearer's chest, not "always", so I would consider both the posts you linked to fit.

I wouldn't call a hoodie a sweater personally, but I understand that that's a matter of personal definition.

No much point in trying to argue whether hoodie lift should be sweater lift if we can't agree on whether hoodies are sweaters. I'm going to approve this for now because it's not going to be solved in this topic either.
