There's an untagged Tsukino Mito costume: favgroup #43507, probably missed at the time because it started illustration-only. The reason I haven't tagged it now is that it got a model between her 14th and 15th costumes, so the numbering will be all wrong. What should be done with this?

I'll set-up the BUR now for freeing this up, but I have to ask: can you share the dates of the model debuts? Because since we've been using the unofficial Niji wiki as a resource for this, I have to wonder if they also somehow missed this (unless this is a 3D model and whoever tagged the Mito costumes stupidly forgot to check the 3D model list).

Thanks. Yes, it is a 3D costume with no 2D version, and it IS on that wiki so you're probably right and it was overlooked because of their annoying separate lists. They call it "アーティスト".

Alright, awesome. That's exactly what I worried about, and why I've emphasized to others that both lists on that wiki need to be checked even if most of the time the 3D list will just be "uhh.... their default made its 3d debut then and, uh... then they did a public debut with it and, hm, that's it i guess", because shit like this can drop between the cracks.

Since it originates from her album cover (post #4706077), tsukino mito (moon rabbit) or tsukino mito (tsuki no usagi) could be viable.

This is why numbered costume tags are horrid. And nobody's going to remember what they're for without visiting the wiki every time. Just rename these to something meaningful and let's get rid of the old names please.

As for the qualifier debate I think if it's been ~6 months or longer with no sign of an official name then I see no harm in just naming them ourselves, because even if they do get one later on it won't be much of a hassle to change them again.

I don't think these are good qualifiers because they either introduce ambiguity into existing costume qualifiers or could be handled differently. In the context of VTuber costumes, (summer) has been used for summertime clothing, such as Houshou Marine (Summer), Hakui Koyori (Summer), Usada Pekora (Summer), Amane Kanata (Summer), Silvervale (Summer), Henya the Genius (Summer), Melody (ProjektMelody) (Summer), etc. generally overlapping with swimwear but not explicitly featuring it due to content censors. Using it to refer to a summer uniform would introduce ambiguity. The (casual) overlaps with several of her costumes, including the one being labeled her 'winter' one and her 'hoodie' one (this has caused issue for Shiranui Flare (Casual) due to people associating 'casual' more with Shiranui Flare (Street), causing mistags). (autumn), (christmas), (spring) could all be more descriptive, (child) is no bueno (see topic #30023), and I'm sure there's better names for her idol costumes.

This is why you can't trust the 'names' given in wikis because someone might make a silly BUR like this.

Additionally, given the fact that we're trying to slot in that missing Mito costume fairn brought up, you should correct your BUR so that it doesn't cause issues with BUR #41588.
