English to Japanese title aliases

We should really use SDR2 though, I don't know anyone who calls it Goodbye Despair.

On the other end of the spectrum I've never seen anyone refer to the first one as Dangan_Ronpa_Kibou_no_Gakuen_to_Zetsubou_no_Koukousei

I would support a reverse alias for 100 Line Rainbow, not the Japanese title as the primary name unless it proves to be more common. Video games are kind of an anomaly in our naming schemes. We tend to go with the original Japanese title for manga and anime, which is great because it gives a level of consistency. Video games on the other hand tend to go with the English (American) localized title with some inconsistences.

You mean I should be using "create alias hundred_line_-saishuu_bouei_gakuen- -> the_hundred_line_-last_defense_academy-" instead?

BUR #41573 has been approved by @nonamethanks.

create alias paranormal_high_school -> shiritsu_paranomaru_koukou
create alias shiretto_sugee_koto_iteru_gal._-_shiritsu_para_no_marukoukou_no_nichijou -> shiritsu_paranomaru_koukou
create alias parako -> shiritsu_paranomaru_koukou

(Incorrectly) translated English title to romanized Japanese title (私立パラの丸高校)

And Shiretto Sugee Koto Itteru Gal is pretty much the manga version of the web series, I don't think there should be two different copyright tags for this.

Parako is the shortened title used in their official handle such as https://twitter.com/parako_official and https://www.youtube.com/@parako

create alias ts_mahou_shoujo_now -> ts_mahou_shoujo_nao
create alias ts_magical_girl_nao -> ts_mahou_shoujo_nao

I was just surfing through this site, and I noticed 2 different tags for a doujin game called "TS Mahou Shoujo Nao". So I made this BUR to unite them both into one tag. 'Nuff said.

At first, I was going to use the name "TS Mahou Shoujo Nao", but I noticed that the official picture used "TS Magical Girl Nao" (and the abbreviation is TSMG NAO!), so in the end I chose to use "TS Magical Girl Nao". By the way, the English names of all the characters in the wiki are also from the introduction of the official picture.

why not ordinary music club?... the translation that actually makes sense and not made up

This forum is to create aliases from the official English localization title to the Japanese title. I don't know why you're suggesting that the alias should be from "Ordinary Music Club" when its official localization in Mangaplus has always been "Girl Meets Rock!". Why did they pick that as the official title is beyond me and frankly is none of our business.

It's like saying "Why would you alias Attack on Titan to Shingeki no Kyojin, it should be "Advancing Giants" because it's the literal translation".
