Per discussion in topic #31002 (specifically the (splatoon_2_one_year_anniversary) tags there), those costume tags for Frye, Shiver, and Big Man are not properly formatted.

They get costumes because topic #31002 happened and all the non-gacha costumes there got approved.

This can't be right, we don't put multiple games in qualifiers.

These qualifiers look terrible, imagine if we had suomi_(girls'_frontline_2)_(girls'_frontline) or saber (fate/stay_night) (fate).

I'm more confused as to why Splatoon Raiders got extra redundancy with a costume tag AND a copyright tag.

If it were one set out of many, then fine. But so far, we don't know yet.

It's worth asking whether the tags should exist to begin with. The whole reason topic #31002 went through is because the characters have multiple outfits per game associated with them, and we currently have no idea whether that'll apply here, so a frye_(splatoon) splatoon_raiders search would be just as efficient - but if they do have multiple outfits in Raiders just like in other games, the current qualifiers they have would be too ambiguous, and in the process we'd just readd (splatoon) as a qualifier anyway.

Ask who tagged and/or populated the tags if you want an answer.

I'd say trying to prevent these tags from being created when the same characters have a myriad other different costumes in other games is a lost cause.
