How do I tag this?

This artist frequently refers to Lucifer from Obey Me as a woman in their commentaries despite not appearing to genderswap him. I'm a bit curious if I should tag this post as I already have with 1boy and hetero or if I should take into consideration these commentaries and use 2girls and yuri instead? I know we should tag what we see, but I'm curious where commentaries like that fall.

We ignore them if there is physical presence to the contrary. that post has an adam's apple and is probably not what someone looking for yuri would like to see. My guess is the artist is just joking around, but regardless that's hetero.

Ohhhh, okay. That makes sense. Thank you ^^

Just reverted some Bridget-related vandalism, but not sure about this one. Could this qualify for genderswap_(mtf)?

For this, I would defer to the artist's comments where they intend for this post of Bridget to be viewed as a woman, so 1girl and any related tags as necessary may (should?) apply. If we don't use the artist's intent here then we're otherwise going to find this post locked in an edit war over different people asserting that their own opinion is right when that's not our job and only to tag with the information we have on hand.

My two cents. I'm not an expert on the Bridget topic, won't pretend to be and don't want to be too involved with it. This is just general advice I apply even in other situations like identifying an out of frame character based on some given context if available because if not then it doesn't make sense for me to assert anything when I don't know better than the artist, I didn't draw the piece.

Though I realise that even for our policy, the pronoun doesn't determine the tagging, we use physical evidence. In other words, I'd say your thoughts are likely correct.

Is there a good tag for when pants have like 1-3 stripes that run down the outseam side like so: https://cdn-images.farfetch-contents.com/19/62/40/42/19624042_44463763_1000.jpg

It's a style mostly associated with Adidas, however, I don't think you can just tag it as "adidas" and call it a day, because there are instances where there are only 1-2 stripes and that's clearly not Adidas (which only ever has 3). Also, I don't think "vertical-striped_pants" really covers it because yes they are vertical stripes, but I feel like that tag tends to mean when the vertical stripes form a pattern that takes up the entirely of the pants, not just down the side. Example: post #9107772 I think at best "vertical-striped_pants" can be a larger grouping tag, but it's not specific enough imo.

Point is I don't think a great tag exists for this so far so maybe it could be "side-stripe_pants" or "outseam-striped_pants"...or something like that?

I think they're just tagged as track pants.

I added the female tags for now. The problem with otoko no ko images is that a lot of them seem to intentionally blur the line between male and female appearances (which is part of the reason why we have a male with breasts tag). If the crotch were a little more in frame and the penis were visible, I would say it should be tagged 1boy instead of futanari, but without that, even knowing Bridget is biologically male, it's hard to see this image as anything other than physically female.

am I missing anything for post #9325659

Looks good for the most part. I added some more. A few things to note:

  • Due to the way her body is emphasized with the tight costume and short skirt, it would probably be better to rate it as S instead of G, especially when you consider how old the character looks in the image.
  • If there's untranslated text in the grey box below the image, it should be labeled commentary request. I translated it, so I added commentary instead. Note that hashtags do not need to be translated.
  • Be careful not to make duplicate character tags. You can check to see whether there are variants available with a wildcard search or checking the character's wiki. I submitted a BUR to alias the one you created to the current one. If it's approved, you'll be able to use the old tag or the new tag for that character.

I see, thank you.
