Danbooru

Loli/shota check thread.

Posted under General

The site was dropped by Stripe for hosting NSFW in general, I'm not sure why you're trying to scapegoat loli and shota specifically. Think about the kind of tags that a regular account and even people with no account can still view and you'll realize it makes no sense.

Right. If topless, nipples, or covered nipples are included, you probably should make it written in loli.

Also I don't see it, but post #6796842 is likely not loli, when I tagged it, I wasn't aware that you exclude girls with boobs or long limbs(?). The word preadolescent flew over my head especially how it excludes most of the common usage of "loli", also that canon age doesn't matter (the provided example only works the other way). You probably should emphasize more the difference between your loli, and the common term.

Also post #132496 is probably loli.

I think the reason it wasn't stated is because most users understand that a lot of people see nudity as inherently sexual.

I agree post #6796842 isn't loli.

Regarding the one-sided example, it's one thing to say "This nude character looks young (and thus loli) but is actually above the age of consent." It's another to say "This nude character looks like an adult (and thus not loli) but is actually underage." Explicitly stating the latter in the wiki would not be a good idea.

As for how the term "loli" is used, see topic #23342.

Also post #132496 is probably loli.

Absolutely.

Those groups are payment processors, not Danbooru.

I don't know how you got the idea I thought Danbooru was the group I was talking about since the topic was groups that threaten Danbooru.

But I also don't see how payment processors could be the correct answer. You're saying that the reason loli and shota are paid content on danbooru is payment processors? That payment processors would be more likely to approve of danbooru if their services were used to buy loli and shota than if they were just used on a site that happens to have loli and shota?

I'm not, and I'm unaware of the specific reasoning, but from what I understand it does help in avoiding regular internet shitstorms, plus it brings the added benefit of, well, funding the site.

I saw user #1116926 mass-adding the loli tag in my event log, looked at their edit history, and it's almost all just adding loli.
I reverted the ones that seemed wrong and left the ones that I don't mind either way, but I thought I'd come here and ask for a second opinion.
If someone could double-check their whole edit history just in case that would be great.
