How do I tag this?

Isn't that tag used for notes used as a character identification or fact-like descriptions?

It can also be used when all items have been annotated. There’s only one chemical element in that image, so technically you’ll have annotated all the elements. :P

How do twys and canon tagging apply here? It is unclear what Kagamine Rin's shoulder ornaments are. They look like they might be epaulettes, but meta knowledge tells me that those are shoulder boards with yellow fabric trim, not fringe trim. Which should I tag?

in this situation I believe it’s up to the tagger’s discretion, because it’s just a matter of how you look at something rather than objectively incorrect tagging. plus I would expect anyone familiar with MMJ Rin to also be familiar with the details of her appearance (and those that aren’t who click on that post will be educated!), so canon tagging is fine.

I suppose that's one way to put it I guess. Restored my note attempt.

I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask, but idk where.
What's the proper way of adding multiple sources to the art ?

you shouldn’t be uploading an image from a different source than the place you got it. just paste the source link into the bookmarklet and you’re good to go, and if the same image is hosted on multiple sites give priority to the one with higher resolution.

I don't know how to tag the black outfit under her white dress that cover her neck down to the chest, should I tag it leotard_under_clothes black_leotard or just black_shirt undershirt ?

This question might apply to eula_(genshin_impact) too since her middle part are quite see-though and very close to black_leotard leotard_under_clothes

This might also apply to yae_miko too since her official designed looks like black_leotard underneath nontraditional_miko

Some fanarts implied one, such as post #6320698

All in all, Hoyoverse really love to include a layer of thin-fabric tight_clothes in some of their characters and it gives me such a headache trying to specifically tag those.

it's true there's a lot of anbiguity for the case of Bronya rand, it could be a halterneck see-through leotard under her dress, or, it could be a see-through sleeveless bodysuit, or it could just be a see-through part of her dress.
Not conviced for Eula and Yae miko however, it could also be a see-through leotard under eula's clothes but in most art i see of her, it looks like a see-through cutout of her clothes, and for Yae miko, only post #post #6320698 convincingly looks like a leotard under the clothes to me, most of the time it looks like a black undershirt (or whatever the name is for the traditional japanese equivalent, if there is a tag for that)

But i guess the most important thing is to not tag those like a bot and choose on a case-by-case basis,

Fair enough, I'd probably only tag it in case the art deliberately focuses on those part for Yae.
For Eula, should I tag most of them as clothing_cutout leotard_under_clothes black_leotard then?
And for Bronya rand, I guess we need a new specific tag for it I guess ?

not exactly, unless you see signs of it being an actual leotard, don't tag it leotard, and i have yet to see any example on eula where it convincingly looks like there is a leotard.
see-through cutout apparently exists as a tiny tag but i personally think it should grow to it's use, with Eula's outfit being one application of it. I've thought for a while about the need for tags about when only specific parts of a piece of clothing is see-through, and that's already one potential solutions for cutout cases.

I'm not sure yet but it does bring my attention on a potential tag for the see-through "neck" portion of her dress, which would also apply to a lot of other less specific but not rare dress designs i've seen with this characteristic. No idea if there is already any tag for that, nor what a tag like this would be named.

Yeah, that works for me.

If there's gonna be a new tag for the neck part, I think it should be generic enough to cover either shirt or leotard since there's a lot of examples I could see such as:

scaramouche (genshin_impact) : post #6277960 post #5921616 post #5787496
Kujou sara : post #6165507 post #6139193 post #4654481
Ganyu (genshin_impact) : post #6312423 post #4296018 post #5941663

Some fanarts : post #6301345 post #6216041

I dont know what you understood of it but most of the examples here wouldn't need that new tag at all, most of them aren't even see-through, and most of the see-through ones aren't partially see-through, just plain see-through.

My idea of the tag is for stuff like post #6330346 to take bronya as an example, or more importantly, clothing designs like this post #6310309 (on the right, the see-through upper chest while the main part is opaque as normal)
But yes, this hypothetical tag should include dresses, leotards, shirts or whatever clothing it is
