I can't tag this with tan background because apparently that tag must be deprecated, despite how necessary it is. What other background color tag can I use?

Well it does have that hint of light-ish brown so it should be close enough.

Though when I reviewed what a "tan" background is, it's supposed to have a balance of saturation and brightness. So I second that tan backgrounds should still have its use here.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm stuck on whether I should tag post #6444838 as 1girl, 1other or ambiguous gender. For context the creator of the MV says he sees Princess as a girl but both he and her character designer suggest that her gender could be up to the viewer.

As someone who works with a lot of characters like this fairly regularly, I'd say tag 1girl and put genderswap (otf) with whatever tag is appropriate for that original 1other tag (which in this case sounds like ambiguous gender or androgynous, but I'm not familiar enough with this character to say for sure). At least, that's what I'd do. You can always put a check gender or gender request note if you still aren't sure. Hope this helps!

Makes sense. Just tagged it as androgynous and noted on her wiki page that her gender is ambiguous. Thanks again for the help!

Maybe. The main issue is that original is a copyright, so I'm not really sure how much sense that would make, combined with the Touhou copyright tag...
