But that's just life sometimes. You try, it doesn't work, and you move on. I'm not going to throw a fit or accusation that the mods are bad, but I don't know if I have it in me to start uploading on the regular. I don't think I'm built for that kind of rejection.

So uh, see you guys around. The last few discussions were surprisingly pleasant.

It really wasn't in vain. Danbooru is scraped by other sites so you have successfully archived and saved the image not only here but to other booru sites as well. Some people like me even browse with "deleted" images visible by default. You can toggle this in user settings.

I empathize with the struggle of liking unpopular characters and series, but I wouldn't take a single deleted image as a crushing blow just try again.

There's always the possibility of finding some other fanart of that outfit (i know nothing about FE, idk how easy it would be to find that fanart)

I've searched around and haven't really found any. Everyone who draws Ivy goes her basic outfit (which is fantastic but I prefer this one). Hence my disappointment...

Nope, posts aren't approved on popularity, and horny art is just more likely to get favorited/upvoted even despite quality. 14 being kinda low for explicit art standards anyway

I mentioned adding to favorites just to show that "did not like the post enough to approve it" is too subjective judgment.

Mayhem, let's be honest, the comic is pretty decently drawn. It's not a masterpiece worth printing out and keeping as a collector's item, but you know very well that there are thousands of drawings on danbooru that are several orders lower in quality.

I just wish I had an honest wording for the rejection.

This is just the standard rejection message. The Moderation Queue has over 500, sometimes over 1000 images and you can't expect that any approver is willing to write a "honest" rejection to every image. Favorites aren't a measurement, because even rule-breaking content can get over 100 favs und score.
Generally, the images are well drawn at all, but the content is also a part of what is judged on. High fetish stuff always has a harder time getting approved. Here we have a very slim girl with absurdly huge breasts and absurd nipples. Sometimes the breast even look detached. I do even believe, that if it would get approved, someone would flag it, because it's just not good enough to stay active.

Niche fetish stuff is less likely to get approved. Not all approvers are going to like your lactation porn.

Read the upload rules under borderline content.

That's really kind of you to say. Genuinely floored by how nice the people here are. I still don't see myself trying again after my failure, but I appreciate the sentiment immensely nonetheless.

i have no idea what's going on in post #6286887
and post #6287786 is literally a pixel-perfect duplicate, it's parent is also deleted but that just means appealing it would have been the correct course instead of uploading a copy of it

I see. The second image was uploaded from a second source of the author, in this case Pixiv. However, I've seen images deleted for not being properly tagged uploaded again with no issues, so I don't quite get it. I guess I'll appeal the first image then, since i don't see any problem with it.

What makes you think post #6032453 's quality is not good enough to approve?

Stop asking for the same image over and over again.

Rules for those requesting feedback:
#1 - You are not guaranteed feedback. It is entirely voluntary to give it.

Still a bit new, but I'm assuming this post wasn't approved because the Pixiv source post was privated/deleted after the fact.
In this case can I update the source field or should I just submit it over again using the Twitter source?

bad id and bad pixiv id aren't reasons to not approve an image. this particular post was only viewed by six approvers which ion288 noted in his appeal, so I'd wait and see for more people take a look at it.
