Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

The line is a lot higher than that, at any rate. This artist needs to improve significantly before their posts have a chance of getting approved. You should look for something else to upload for now.

If this is your own art, stick to Pixiv and wait until someone else thinks your art is good enough to be uploaded here because it’s hard to objectively judge the quality of your own art.

if the line is higher then why is there worse art on the site? Isnt the purpose here to show off art that people have drawn?

Alright, is there anything actually wrong with these posts that justifies their deletion?

Edit: They're not noticeably worse than the posts from the same artist that have been approved (and most of those are recent, so no "old standards were lax" excuse here).

Ive seen approved posts with worse proportions.
post #736421 for example has wack eyes and head structure

Really? I don’t see anything wrong with the eyes or head structure. It’s definitely better than all your uploads.
Also keep in mind that approval standards used to be more lax in the past.

it bulges out on the cheek and especially looks odd on the right one and the eyes are about the same size- what do you mean

and this one was already flagged but posts/6190264 is worse

The cheek bulge you're talking about isn't in any way a flaw in head structure, of all things i'd criticize the forehead; if the eyes in post #736421 are whack to you then how are those in post #6176759 not? And that's with the 12 years time leap in standards
To be honest the artist in your posts sure is ambitious judging by post #6176759 and may do a big leap in skill by the next year with that practice but for now, line quality, coloring and anatomy are all technically better in that 12y.o post, everything you pointed out about it also applies to yours

While I admit there is room for improvement but part of it is style related. The other point there is, if everything applies to both, then why is one still allowed

because it was posted 12 years ago, like Kittey said, standards of quality then were much lower than now, and everyone on the site has better things to do than hunt for incredibly old posts just to flag them for the sake of comparison, especially as older posts logically get seen less.
And i wouldn't say part of the issue with abukumacl's work is style related, style isn't a real factor in overall quality when it's still beginner-stage learning.
Don't want to make an unfair comparison, and 4 out of 5 posts are approved, but a case of style actually being a detrimental factor in how likely the art is to get approved is inputwo's stuff, here that's someone who knows exactly what they're doing, i'd say they're expert-level in art, but i wouldn't be surprised if i started posting their art here with half of the posts not getting approved
And if i have to take some of my posts for comparison then samipeko seems, at least to me, to be another case of style just not sitting well on this site as there is a lot of good points about their art, in line quality, sense of anatomy, and even how dynamic even the most static poses end up looking.

I get that its from 12 years ago. I merely pulled it for sake of argument; if it was current day, it wouldn't be accepted. Also you'd be surprised in how much style can actually play a part in things.

Though, question about what you said. If- for example, inputwo- you post their stuff, why would only half of it get accepted? If they are expert-level then surely all would be accepted- at least in theory.

Because at the end of the day at least one approver needs to like the post, and even if Inputwo purposely draws girls like that his intentionally stylized fetish proportions might not appeal to all approvers. An artist can be competent but still unappealing.

But I don't think abukumacl comes off that way, I don't think it's abysmal by any means, but he's still a beginner. The way he colors and constructs faces could use work, but at the same time I appreciate the fact that he experiments with different poses and draws a variety of outfit styles. I'm sure in a few years he'll be good enough to post here. He drew a lot the last year, if he keeps up at his current pace he can only get better.

Thats fair. There is always room for improvement. I hope to see one day he can be posted on here.

Zetsubousensei already gave the response in essence, so i'm just gonna add that i also think abukumacl might as well improve faster than most artists if they keep at it, i'm actually curious about what their style will end up being later

I think it's less about the pose and more about the awfully wrecked anatomy
and post #6175079 also has glaring anatomy problems even if it's a lot most digestable than the other

post #6177350: the proportions here are super wack. her head is like, a third the size of either asscheek? the size of her upper and lower halves is definitely disconnected.
post #6172189: a lot of people tend to not like this pose since it invites anatomy problems faster than you get favorites after upping r18. for example in this image her hips and upper back are so close together she must be an invertebrate, error 404 spine not found. the right arm, while theoretically possible, looks strange and the overall shading is very shallow.
