You are utterly deranged if you think requiring FIVE approvers to "vote" on something would at all make things better for you, compared to right now when it only takes one.

It was a suggestion it's open to improvement or rejection I didn't say it has to be FIVE. many posts were reviewed by more than 10 approvers and they did nothing They didn't approve the post or said it has bad quality so I think a yes or no voting system is better than associating the approver with the post he approved
The three approvers here post #6112337 probably would have voted yes and the post got approved automatically after three days, or immediately if you think 3 votes are enough, instead of left to die because no way this art is low-quality

and again, Im not here attacking approvers and play the game of "why did you approve this but not that" but I think the fact that 10 approvers can look at a post and can't decide if it's poor quality or not is not helpful
this post, for example, post #6102494 <<< NSFW I wouldn't have appealed if half of them voted poor quality even tho I think it has better quality than at least 70% of what usually get posted here

Looking at the upper body, the anatomy just falls apart in this one

I like it and I think it's good enough even if many disagree but if that's what the approvers thought they should have voted poor quality

I've myself liked some posts despite the fact they happened to have questionable anatomy, but the line where "good enough despite anatomy errors" lies is very subjective, and it's definitely a case where i see the anatomy errors being way too glaring to pass

The thing about "approvers doing nothing" is because they get marked in the amount of "approvers who have reviewed this post" regardless of them actually opening the image or not, they might merely scroll past it and they will still be counted in the amount of reviews, so the "yes or no" system wouldn't do anything

I guess you have no idea how the approval process works, because a single “yes” vote is enough to approve a post. The user who clicked the “yes” vote is the one shown as the approver. That’s why there’s only one approver listed: because only one is needed.
The three (now six) approvers on post #6112337 clicked the “no” vote. I don’t understand why you think they would have voted “yes” instead for some reason.

I see anatomy problems and weird perspectives in the linked posts. Regardless, take it with a grain of salt coming from me. I was lurking and felt like replying, so about:mod queue: An X number of approvers - supposedly - looked at the posts and didn't approve them for whatever reason, they can, but don't need to elaborate. I get what you mean, you want more than a simple no, and that's why this thread exists. Now look, with your approval system suggestion, even if their username wasn't stamped on the approved posts, most of them would still vote no for the posts to be approved.

even tho I think it has better quality than at least 70% of what usually get posted here

That tells something, strive to upload images in between the 30% you think is good. You're also free to flag posts you deem should be deleted, especially those uploaded by contributors, just don't abuse the system.

EDIT: Great, that's understandable.

Because I thought it is either poor quality (no) or approve (yes) Then the name of the approver is displayed for everyone.
I thought the "did not like the post enough" are for the approvers who saw the post but are undecided. They don't think the quality is poor but also don't like the post enough to want their name in it as the approver.
So yes I thought they would vote yes for decent art if their name isn't on full display because I genuinely don't get what is wrong with that post. I saw and personally uploaded worse art and got approved but Im not here to compare, was just posting my suggestion and now that I know the approvers actually clicked no I'll move now

it's ok I wanted to know everyone's opinion on that

actually no. I wanted a simple yes or no system because I thought the approvers who didn't hit poor quality are undecided
not gonna lie, I still would have asked why if I saw all approvers hit no for the art I appealed and posts like these
R18>>post #6102494 post #6157459 <<R18

because I genuinely think these are great and not just "decent"

nah Im not here to be an elitist. yes I may like it better than 70% of what was posted here but it doesn't mean the rest are trash and should be deleted if the majority don't think that I'll just move on. thought, again, "X number did not like the post enough" are undecided approvers and didn't know it was a "no"

I know these are from a long time ago, but I'd like to know why a majority of these posts got rejected in the first place. The deleted posts in question also appear on some of the artist's Twitter posts, but these deleted posts pale in comparison to the Twitter version because they're large, full, and uncompressed. So I wonder why these posts from a high quality and uncompressed source got deleted.
